Our technicians have a combined 16 years experience in handling narcotics and patrol trained canines for local law enforcement. Certified in Maryland courts as expert K-9 handlers.

Beth Nelson has been in local law enforcement for 15 years.  For 11 of those years she has handled a narcotics and patrol trained K-9.  Beth knows from first hand experience how well a trained and certified K-9 can sniff things out.  From the war on drugs to snifing out mold or bedbugs, a trained K-9 is Beth's best partner.  Beth has testified and is certified as an expert K-9 handler through Maryland courts.  Her courtroom expertise may come in handy in residential or commercial situations.She has been trained and certified through the Professional Mold Inspection Institute (PMII0, which follows the training standards set forth in national standards. She is also a member of the National Association of Mold Inspectors (NAMI).

Chris Tucker has been employed in local law enforcement since 1995. He has handled a patrol and narcotics trained K-9 since 2003. In addition to being a certified handler, he holds a trainer's certifcation in several disciplines related to law enfocement K-9 training and training of scent detection K-9's. He has testified as an expert witness related to the use of K-9's for scent detection in the Maryland Courts.


About Blanca...

At the Florida Canine Academy, Blanca was trained to discriminate scents of various types of microbial colonies. If Blanca finds mold, Blanca will alert the handler to the location. Blanca received 1000 hours of initial training. Quarterly testing and annual recertification are required by the Certified Master Trainer. Blanca is trained daily on various types of microbial colonies in a variety of structures.
